I liked the intro for this lecture, it was very entertaining but also called me out a little bit! To answer a question from the intro I normally watch the lectures to gain clarity of themes in the book, for example the idea of “Gendered Endings”, I didn’t even think about that! I definitely while reading took the side of observing as when I figured out the reader was male portraying I found it harder to relate or put myself in the role of the reader.
